Directions to Austin Bayou

Getting to the Austin Bayou RV Park and Golf Course is (purposefully, perhaps) a challenge. Let’s face it, isn’t this a little secret among just us friends? We don’t want masses of people upsetting our little piece of heaven here, right? So you won’t find a stop sign, a traffic light, or any truly obvious indications of where we are. That’s the plan. But for you, our guests, here’s the key to the secret. Just click on the buttons to the left and you’ll be presented with a map of how to find us, from Houston. The lower button shows a much closer-in map, to get you that last mile into our park. Basically, it goes like this: Get yourselves to Alvin, TX and then take rte 35 about 12 miles south to county road 33. You’ll see our multiple silos on the right. Go up 33 about a mile and you’ll see a sign for our RV/Golf park. Drive slowly and carefully! You’ll be going across a runway (don’t blink or you’ll miss it) where the Garrett family takes off and – hopefully – lands with a beautiful old yellow biplane. You find our office in there on the right. Welcome!
